California Privacy Rights

This page describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and exactly how to exercise them with Rick's Collectibles. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes our practices in full.

Your Rights as a California Resident

• Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete — request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, information we must keep to complete a transaction you requested, or to meet tax and legal obligations).
• Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — direct a business not to sell or share your personal information. Rick's Collectibles does not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by California law, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the right is yours regardless.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — where applicable, direct us to limit its use. We collect no sensitive personal information beyond what payment processors handle directly.
• Right to Non-Discrimination — you will never receive discriminatory treatment (different prices, service levels, or refusals) for exercising any privacy right.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

• Identifiers — name, email address, shipping and billing address;
• Commercial information — order history, products purchased, returns;
• Internet or network activity — pages visited on our site, device and browser information, cookies;
• Payment information — handled directly by our payment providers; we never store full card numbers.

We collect this information directly from you and from your use of the site; we use it to process orders, provide support, operate and improve our store, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations; and we disclose it only to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months.

How to Submit a Request

What happens next

• We confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days;
• We may need to verify your identity — typically by matching the email address and order details on file — before disclosing or deleting information, to protect you from fraudulent requests;
• We respond substantively within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where legally permitted, in which case we tell you why;
• You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf; we will require proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

Exercising these rights is always free of charge.
