Payment Information

We keep payment at Rick's Collectibles simple, secure, and transparent. This page explains which payment methods we accept, when your card is charged, how your payment data is protected, how taxes and receipts work, and what to do if checkout gives you trouble.

Accepted Payment Methods

All available options for your order are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. If a method you expected does not appear, it may be temporarily unavailable from the provider — contact us and we will confirm.

Pricing, Currency & Taxes

• All prices are listed in US dollars (USD).
• The product price is the complete price — shipping is free on every order, with no thresholds and no surcharges.
• Applicable state and local sales tax is calculated automatically based on your shipping address and shown at checkout before you pay. What you see on the final checkout screen is exactly what you are charged.
• Prices may change over time, but the price you pay is always the price displayed when you complete your order. Pre-order prices are locked at purchase — see our Pre-Order Policy.

When You Are Charged

Your payment method is charged at the time you place your order. For pre-orders, this charge reserves your product; the item then ships on or after its release date. If we ever cancel an order you have paid for — for example due to a pricing error or unavailability — you receive a full refund to your original payment method, promptly and automatically.

Payment Security

• Every transaction runs over SSL/TLS-encrypted connections — look for the padlock in your browser.
• Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe), the same standard used across major e-commerce.
• Rick's Collectibles never sees or stores your full card number. Your sensitive payment details are handled directly and exclusively by the payment processor, in their secure environment.
• We employ fraud screening on transactions to protect both you and the store. In rare cases this may require us to verify an order with you by email before it ships — a small delay that protects your card.

Billing Address & Declined Payments

Please ensure the billing address you enter matches the address on file with your card issuer — a mismatch is the single most common reason for a declined payment. If your payment is declined:

• Re-check the card number, expiry date, and CVV;
• Confirm the billing address matches your card statement exactly;
• Try an alternative payment method from the list above;
• Still stuck? Email support@rickscollectibles.shop and we will help you complete the order — sometimes the fix is as simple as your bank wanting a quick confirmation from you.

Receipts & Records

Your order confirmation email is your receipt and includes an itemized breakdown of product price, tax, and total paid. Need a copy re-sent, or a formatted invoice for your records? Email us with your order number and we will send one over.

Refunds to Your Payment Method

All refunds — returns, cancellations, and pre-order cancellations — go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Full timing details are in our Refund & Return Policy.
